Program Analyst
Transparentem is a U.S.-based nonprofit that advances the well-being of workers and communities by uncovering abuses in global supply chains to drive labor and environmental justice. Through in-depth investigations, strategic engagement with companies and other stakeholders, and policy advocacy, we push for immediate and long-term remediation of labor and climate exploitation at all levels of supply chains. We advocate for systemic improvements, prioritizing human rights and environmental stewardship. We envision a sustainable world that is just and equitable for all workers and their communities.
We are looking for a Program Analyst to join the Programs Team and support research, analysis, investigations, and strategic engagement for Transparentem. The Analyst will help draft reports and materials for partner engagement, providing administrative and programmatic support as needed.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development, planning, and execution of all workstreams of the Programs Team, namely Transparentem’s investigative work, strategic engagement, and policy and advocacy activities, including:
Support the development of project plans with the project teams.
Support management and analysis of evidence collected for projects.
Manage and document supply chain tracing and mapping of key stakeholders.
Conduct background research on labor and environmental issues in global supply chains.
Draft, edit, and/or fact check external-facing reports and collateral for meetings and other events or convenings, as needed.
Support development and tracking of project budgets.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is passionate about ending environmental and labor abuses in global supply chains and looking to build their analytical, investigative, and communication skills as they move through the early stages of their career. A successful candidate will have experience engaging in research related to human rights or environmental abuse and successfully executing detail-oriented tasks against competing deadlines.
Successful candidates will have a well-rounded mix of knowledge, skills, and experience, such as:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience—this can include 2 years of internship experiences; experience supporting project management and research functions, including synthesizing and analyzing data, desk research, or other related experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Multi-cultural competency and working or lived experience with people from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds.
Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills, with consistent attention to detail.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as journalism, public policy, labor rights, human rights, sustainability, environmental studies, social sciences, English, or criminology, is strongly preferred.
Passion for Transparentem’s mission and a commitment to combating forced labor and environmental abuse in global supply chains.
Other requirements:
Fluency in English (written and oral). Proficiency in additional languages, including French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Tamil, is a plus.
US work authorization (we are unable to sponsor H1-B visas).
Location: Remote within the United States.

Salary Range: $60,000 – 70,000 per year, dependent on experience and location, plus a highly competitive benefits package, including a 401k match, 19 holidays, 20 vacation days, flexible schedules, and medical, vision, and dental insurance.
